What ho all!
Well, musical theater day was upon us today. I'm not a particularly musical person myself. Though I participate in our school musicals, it's usually just as a lowly chorus member, singing along quietly and out of tune. But one has fun:) I still enjoyed the first part of the day though. I also really appreciated Ian's talk about auditioning. He really seemed to take a lot of the mystery out of that mystical and intimidating process; it was really reasuring to hear someone who has actually sat behind the table say that one third of auditioning is just proving that you are a human being. "Wait a sec," I think to myself, "I can do that, I am a human being!". I've always been someone who, not matter what, get's extremely nervous at auditions and it's good to hear things like that from time to time. Blocking was interesting as always and I realized as a I was flipping through the script, Dudes we are almost done blocking the entirety of Richard III!!!!! I'm super excited and proud of all of us!
See you fine ladies and gents tommorow
