This conservatory has been soooo much fun and each day is always better then the one before. It seems like everyday another funny joke occurs!!!!! Like... Winston Churchill (for all of those people who were sitting outside), or maybe even a line from Richard that makes everyone laugh. I have really enjoyed all the speakers who have come to talk to us because they make me look at my character in a completely different way. Well, anyways I guess i have to answer all of the 10 questions now, soooo unless you really want to learn more about Lady Hastings, I suggest you might want to stop reading. :)

Who am I?

Part of the King's faction

I am more of a quiet person towards the beginning of the play, and then have my moments of exploding anger at other people. (Ahemmmmm Richard...)

Where am I?

I believe that Hastings is in a nervous being most of the time and she is also in a trapped situation because one wrong insult equals a gunshot.

What time is it?

Currently it is 8:29 p.m. but for Hastings it is war time and also a time of confusion and chaos.

What are my surroundings?

My surroundings consist of castle walls and angry people who either are trying not to get killed or trying to win the throne.

What is my relationship?

I think Hastings relationship with all the people around her is not the really friendly type, but rather more of the business type.

What just happened?

At the beginning I believe Hastings has recently found out that the king has become sick, which leads to Richard killing almost everyone so he can have the throne for himself.

What is my objective?

I think Hastings has many objectives, but one of the main ones is that she doesn't want Richard to become king, and so she speaks out about it and ends up getting herself killed, but she does it for a purpose.

What stands in the way?

Richard not stopping for anyone until he gets the throne and crown all for himself.

How do I get it?

I will get it by getting myself killed, which shows that people must be aware that Richard is a maniac and only wants power.

How do I know when I've got it?

When Richard is in hell and Hastings is in heaven.
