Nine questions

Camp/conservatory, whatever it is, is so much fun and just getting funner (funner can be a word if I want it to be) every day. I can't believe we are half way done already! This means that in just as much time as it's been since our first day we will be performing Richard III! (did that sentence make any sense?)

Today was very interesting. I am now ashamed to say that I didn't know who Uta Hagen was before today (as with many of the things we have learned). This is because I haven't, sadly, done very much with drama and acting in my life. Not much time. I am planing on changing though, starting now. 

I thought our first run through when pretty well. Especially considering how Ian described it was going to be. =] I am very excited about performing this play! 

And now it's time to answer my nine questions about my 3 characters. So from here on it will get very boring (more boring then it already is).

Second Murderer 

1. Who am I?

I am someone hired to do the dirty work for a lord. (is this enough)

2. Where am I?

In London, England, in the Tower of London.

3. What time is it?

2009. (that's all I know)

4. What are my surroundings? 

A cell in the Tower.

5. What are the given circumstances?

I was recently hired to murder Clarence, the brother of the King, by Richard, also a brother.

6. What is my relationship?

To Richard- He is a lord, who is paying me.

To First Murderer- fellow villain, and I suppose friend?

7. What do I want?

I want money.

8. What's in my way?

Clarence. 

9. How am I going to get it?

Do as I'm told and kill Clarence.

10. How will I know when I get it?

When the money is handed over.

Duke of York

1. Who am I?

I am an 11 year old prince.

2. Where am I?

In London, England.

3. What time is it?

2009. 

4. What are my surroundings? 

A castle?

5. What are the given circumstances?

My father, the King, just died, my brother is now "King," and one of my uncles is also dead.

6. What is my relationship?

To the Queen- she is my mother and cares for me. =]

To the Prince- he is my brother and I think can protect me.

To Richard- he is my favorite uncle, who I think cars for me.

7. What do I want?

Okay so I have thought this over a bunch, and I really don't know.

8. What's in my way?

9. How am I going to get it?

10. How will I know when I get it?

(some help with this last part would be nice if anyone knows)

Vaughan

1. Who am I?

I am the Queens sister.

2. Where am I?

In London, England, in the castle.

3. What time is it?

2009. 

4. What are my surroundings? 

Throne room? 

5. What are the given circumstances?

The King, my brother in law, is sick (and like to die).

6. What is my relationship?

To the Queens faction- they are my family, so I care about them

To the house of York- they are my enemies.

7. What do I want?

-In the first scene I'm in, I believe want to comfort the Queen.

-In the other scene, I'm about to die, so I don't want those that are killing me to get away with it (Richard, Ratcliff). ??

8. What's in my way?

-Her husband might die.

-I am going to die.

9. How am I going to get it?

-convince her that if she is happy he will get better, then tell her she will be okay she has a son. ???

-Yell at them. Though I don't know how far that will get me.

10. How will I know when I get it?

-When she smiles. =]

-I suppose I wont.
