Ride in Blood!

Alright, let's see. Interesting would probably be the best word of description. I loved the woman who came in to work with us today. It was definitely an eye-opening class. It seems we always chase after that experience of becoming one with the character, and her exercises today turned that into a science. I really liked the whole abstract part of it all. The only problem is that when it gets that deep, I never know if I'm doing it right. Sometimes I wonder if I really am just seeing the back of my eyelids and have convinced myself of seeing more. In the end I truly think there was substance to her lesson which I hope I can use towards other roles.

The rest of the day was pretty much business as usual. I was trying to read my book, yet I always manage to get enthralled in the play and lose focus. However, perhaps that is what should happen. The stage combat was lots of fun, and it really did feel like a dance (need to work on the battle grunts). I love being furious and all; it is just that sometimes I seem to be unsure if I'm on the right path when it comes to how I'm acting it. I know all will be tackled once we reach script-less-ness, but I have a tendency of being too critical of myself ( need to work on that too). Anyways, can't wait to get my Uta on tomorrow and have our first run through! See you soon, my talented friends!
