A Summary So Far

Victory! I finally found the e-mail for this blog! (It was kind of in the deleted folder) whoops! Anyways, to make up for lost time I guess it seems fit to write about yesterday AND today; so here it goes: Monday was a lot of fun. As an actor you don't always think about your body so much as your mind, yet I found it very eye-opening to realize the importance of both. Later on I was relieved to find that going through Richard III one beat at a time made it easier to understand, and now I feel more confident about what exactly is going on. Yes, it was a little boring having to just sit there and read along but it was definitely a needed "translation" of it all. Today seemed to go by really fast. All the breathing and tongue twisters seemed to blend together I guess. Reading the poems was a lot of fun since poetry is one of my favorite forms of writing. It is so cool how poems all come down to interpretation, but I digress. During the read-through, I had some great ideas for my character; and I look forward to the surprises ahead.
