Today was tedious.

I found today to be tedious, although I know it isn't as tedious as some days to come.
I really really really loved loved loved the family portrait activity. It was a fun way to learn. I was more aware of my relations to the space and people onstage, and that is really important. I found the 3 acting points to be interesting, because my high school acting teachers have tried to 'teach' that, but...they just...no.
I did not like going over Lady Macbeth/Macbeth's dialogue or with a partner. I just couldn't get into it and I don't think I gave my partner much to work with. Sorry Evan!

Watching Chloe was interesting, and it gave me more ideas for my character, which I really need to work on. I am glad that I'm not the only one terrified of that dang ladder. Oh, speaking of dang, today when Ian said "If you're going to improvise, they didn't say things like 'oh shoot!' or 'dang'!" I thought I was going to wet my pants. My friends and I have inside jokes about 'dang' and 'oh shoot', so I just found that extremely funny.

I think one of the reasons why I am not getting into the activities is because I haven't really come out of my shell. I'm usually really outgoing and happy and loudly spoken, but I just can't seem to break out of Shy Olivia. I will try harder to be more apart of the group and participate more.

Thanks, Oooolivia.
