Hello everyone!
Firstly, some fantastic memories of Midsummer were brought back to me. Secondly, volleyball night at the pool is kind of chaotic. It's basically a bunch of adults acting like teenagers at a house party. And drinking, because it's legal and they're not scared of no one! But anyway, that's my story for today.
Today was a bit more serious and slow for me, that's because I woke up at 9:36 to find Chloe at my door. Eekers! I jumped out, in any case and got downstairs at a swift pace. Then we went to the theatre and I was kind of half dead. That's alright. The warmups were great and bull frog and hummingbird were so much fun!
My theatre teacher is a big proponent of verbs/objectives. BIG proponent. So, I was quite used to them, but hearing them from a fresh person I was remotivated to motivate my charactes! Indeed! The nine parts were great, because although I've heard those before too, the information doesn't stick to my brain until I've heard it many many times.
Blocking was fun, I enjoyed bearing a coffin and processing and reprocessing again & again, it was actually quite fun. Due to my lack of sleep I was a bit loopy at that point and I couldn't stop laughing at the smiley face in the bench that happened to be Clarence. Oh, I smile just thinking about it.
Love,
Julia
P.S. I tried to tell someone about Shakespeare... they didn't understand.
